92 News is the first Pakistani HD, 24/7 live news TV channel. The channel started its transmission in January 2015 from Lahore but later expanded its centers and coverage to 300 cities. The bureau offices are spread across important cities like Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Multan, Sukkur, and Quetta. The channel’s name “92” is inspired by the dialing code of Pakistan +92, and it is also inspired by the year 1992, when Pakistan won its first cricket World Cup.

The channel aims to air news, infotainment, and current affairs programs including hourly headlines, 8 news bulletins, crime shows, and religious programs. 92 News is a pioneer of high-tech studios in Pakistan, especially using hologram technology.
